Summary
As they hike up Bass Trail, Scooter and Duane get to talking. He mentions that he will be working for Josh and Tiffany with the dogs this winter; it looks like his goal is to someday be dogracing in Alaska in the winter and in the Canyon in the summer.
When they get to the office, Jim is waiting for her. After a couple of beers and a burger, they head for the house and spend most of the next day in bed. On Saturday, they both have to get ready for their next trips, and he drops her off at the office, where Michelle kids her about her time with Jim. Jerry and his girl friend Kelly come in, and she makes it clear that she isn't enthusiastic about getting on a Canyon trip, although it's obvious that she has Jerry wrapped around her little finger.
