Diane Gritzmaker is a member of Bradford High School Class of 1988. She is married to Keith Gritzmaker while her maiden name is not clear. The couple live close to Bradford, in Hawthorne.

Diane had an old Dodge car, described as a beater and a clunker, that she was trying to sell. She first lent it to Emily to drive around town while Emily lent her car to Dayna Berkshire in Louisana.^HT24. Dayna subsequently purchased the car, which had proven to be more reliable than expected.^HT26 Dayna and Sandy were still driving the car around Bradford years later.^HS11

Both Gritzmakers attended the 1998 Halloween Drag party at the Heisler's. Keith's simple outfit was described as a housedress and a long dark wig, unlike the glamorous route taken by many others.^HS4
