Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, about 5 miles from the much bigger and better known University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

EMU is where both Class of 1988 Bradford alumni John Engler and Mandy Paxton attended.

EMU was originally a Teachers College and education is still what it is best known for inside Michigan, but it does offer the full breadth of a university now.
