Dunlap and Fyre was a small publisher in New York City. Dave Patterson was a Science Fiction/Fantasy editor there. Their offices were badly damaged by the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.^PUTP8

Science Fiction was the biggest single editorial department. The firm was owned by Rob Dunlap who bought out his partner Fyre several years prior to 2001, but left the established name unchanged.^PUTP27
