Angela Morton was the receptionist at Lambdatron.

She was one of only a few non-engineering shareholders in the company. Technically she was the receptionist, but the rather matronly woman was Stan's babysitter and utility infielder whenever he needed somebody non-technical for an unusual job.

Lambdatron did not need a full-time show coordinator, so Angela was the person who had been tagged to do the job. And she was good at it. She was the one who had designed the show booth, made arrangements to get it to the site and set up, and dealt with all the little details of handling the show so engineers like Jon, Tanisha, and Jennlynn could concentrate on talking engineering with whoever came by.

Tanisha trusted Angela "to get right to the bottom of things."^GT4

Jennlynn met her when she came to interview with Lambdatron.^MC7 When Jennlynn "came out" about her part-time job, Angela, still somewhat skeptical, traveled with a group of colleagues to the Redlite Ranch. There, Angela confided that she was married but hated sex, and suspected she might be a lesbian. On Jennlynn's recommendation, Angela tried Cindy, and discovered that she indeed enjoyed sex with women. She got confident enough about it to proclaim it on her T-shirt during Tasteless T-shirt days at work.^MC13

Tanisha and Jon (not married then) first met Angela during their first day of internship, which happened on a Tasteless T-Shirt Day. She was wearing a "PLUSH — Phoenix Lesbians United to Save Humanity" T-shirt. It was a fitting introduction to the company culture.^AT7
