Summary

Sandy enjoys her time at the RenFaire and works with Dayna and Tim to create routines for the two girls. They find their balance as Sandy takes a lead during instrumental bridges while Dayna has the stronger voice. The pair work subsequent weekends at the Faire while maintaining good grades at school. The couple book themselves to work the fair the next year.

On campus, the pair develop a reputation with their clothes and song choices and work everything from football crowds to frat parties. Early November at one such party, a drunk fraternity member was giving Dayna a bit of trouble when she gave him a thousand dollar challenge of put or shut up. Sandy is shocked that Dayna used the tactic to quiet things down, but even more shocked when Dirk calls the next day and Dayna accepts. As Dayna prepares for her first gig as a prostitute, Sandy asks questions, trying to understand why her roommate would do this.

When Dayna returns, Sandy is still upset. In the ensuing discussion, Sandy confesses while not a virgin, she hasn't enjoyed sex and worries she might be a lesbian. While Dayna warns "Now's probably not the best time", Sandy still wants Dayna to show her a decent time.

Things were subdued after that until Sandy, now understanding why Dayna wanted to know she could prostitute herself, gives it a try, too. "I realized I had to find out if I could do it, too. And I can."
