Summary

Crystal wants to know if Al has ever been surfing, he had when younger with his best friend, who turns out to be Buddha. Although Louise wasn't into surfing, Al is happy to get back into it. Crystal asks Karin if Jon ever mentioned the name Tanisha, then explains how she'd met this girl in Jon's room at Georgia Tech, but that as she's black it would explain the separation with Jon. Randy is a little isolated from the rest of the group, rowing by himself, but he's enjoying himself. He notices the interactions between Crystal, Karin and Al, and assumes that they've asked Al to referee whilst Karin & Crystal sort out their differences, and he's glad to be out of it. Towards the end they come to Lava, and Crystal shoves Randy out by himself, when he comes out the other side, he's exhilarated.
