In 1995, he is in his 50's, graying, slightly larger and more solid than Randy Clark. He keeps Gil's books and when Josh and Tiffany Archer open their outdoor supply store adjacent to his business, he is known to help out, especially when the pair are off racing their sled dogs. By 2000 he adds John Archer to his business, allowing him more time with his hobbies.
