'''Bob Linder''' is the grandfather of [[Linder, Fred|Fred Linder]].  After WWII Bob loaned some dogs to [[Lindquist, George|George Lindquist]] so he could check his trap lines during the winter.  When [[McMahon, Mike|Mike McMahon]] and [[Gravengood, Mark|Mark Gravengood]] got interested in dog sleds, they consulted with George Lindquist who passed on the knowledge he had gained years before.
